Change Address With
the FTB (CA) For Business

Overview

Use Form FTB 3533-B, Change of Address for Businesses, Exempt Organizations, Estates, and Trusts, to update your business mailing address or location. This new address will be used for future correspondence. Usually, you only need to fill out one FTB 3533-B to update your business address. If you’re representing someone else, visit ftb.ca.gov/poa for guidance.

You can also change your address by visiting ftb.ca.gov and logging in or registering for MyFTB, or by calling 800-852-5711. If you change your address online or by phone, you don’t need to use this form.

Who Should Use This Form

Use Form FTB 3533-B if you file any of these income tax returns: Forms 100, California Corporation Franchise or Income Tax Return; 100S, California S Corporation Franchise or Income Tax Return; 100W, California Corporation Franchise or Income Tax Return – Water’s-Edge Filers; 109, Exempt Organization Business Income Tax Return; 199, Exempt Organization Annual Information Return; 541, California Fiduciary Income Tax Return; 565, Partnership Return of Income; or 568, Limited Liability Company Return of Income.

Entity Number, Name, and Address

Provide your California corporation number or California Secretary of State file number, if applicable. Also, include your entity’s federal employer identification number (FEIN). Don’t forget to enter the name and address of your business, exempt organization, estate, or trust.

Additional Information

Use the Additional Information field for names of owners, representatives, or attention details or any extra address information.

PO Box

If your mail doesn’t get delivered to your street address, use your PO box number instead.

Foreign Address

For foreign addresses, follow the country’s format for filling in the city, county, province, state, country, and postal code, as needed. Don’t use abbreviations for the country name.

Signature

The owner, officer, or representative must sign and include their title. An officer could be the president, vice president, treasurer, chief accounting officer, and so on. A representative is someone authorized to handle tax matters with a valid power of attorney.
